§ Mr. Ridsdaleasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she will adjust the fuel allowance for those on supplementary benefit in view of the fact that paraffin has doubled in price within the last nine months.
§ Mr. Robert C. BrownSupplementary benefit scale rates, which provide for all normal requirements including heating, are being substantially increased with 295W effect from 22nd July. Additions for extra heating, which are awarded on grounds of poor health or bad accommodation, are being increased by the Supplementary Benefits Commission from the same date.
