HC Deb 19 July 1974 vol 877 c304W
Mr. Warren

asked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will discuss with the Civil Aviation Authority action to ensure that civil aircraft are not routed over central London at heights which mean that they intercept the glide slopes for Heathrow from below rather than above, thus causing unnecessary noise interference with life in London.

Mr. Clinton Davis

This is a complex problem which has been fully discussed with the Civil Aviation Authority in the past. We will, however, discuss it with the authority again, and I will write to the hon. Member.
