§ Mr. Tylerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer in view of the fact that offices of Her Majesty's Inspector of Taxes in Cornwall have no supplies of the leaflet "Income Tax and the Elderly", and plead the paper shortage as the cause, if he will take steps to remedy the situation.
§ Dr. GilbertAdequate supplies of the pamphlet "Income Tax and the Elderly" (IR4) are available. I understand that one district in Cornwall temporarily exhausted its stock but steps are being taken to supply it with further copies. Inland Revenue apologises for any inconvenience caused.
