§ 33. Sir Frederic Bennettasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department on what grounds he has refused to grant asylum to Professor Vladimir Czaryunov.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsI have made no such refusal. Professor Czaryunov applied for a visa in Rotterdam on 4th July, and it was granted on 5th July. He arrived the same day and was given leave to enter for 12 months initially without employment restrictions.
