§ 24. Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many girls aged 15 and 16 years have been sent to Holloway prison in each of the last three years; and how many of these have been referrals from community homes.
§ Dr. SummerskillSixty-one girls aged 15 or 16 were received into Holloway in 1971, 55 in 1972 and 72 in 1973. Information to answer the second part of the Question is not immediately available but I shall write to the hon. Member.
