§ Mr. KaufmanCopies of the Building Research Establishment report on the failure of high alumina cement concrete roof beams at the Sir John Cass School were sent to local authorities on 1st July 1974. Copies can be obtained from the establishment's publication section. I have now considered the report and will be issuing further advice to local authorities on the structural use of high alumina cement concrete and on measures to be taken with existing buildings. I am sending a copy of the BRE report to the hon. Member, and will also be sending him a copy of the further advice.
