asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will amplify the answer given on 28th June to the hon. Member for Haltemprice (Mr. Wall) about the lifting of the moratorium on grants and loans for fishing vessels in respect of the reference to current prices, and of the reference to approvals related to expenditure to which the applicant is himself committed.

The White Fish Authority and Herring Industry Board, in counting approvals against the £13 million limit, will do so on the basis of the current price at the time the approval is given.

already made use of them and are free to do so again if they wish. I see no need, therefore, to make any separate new arrangements.
