§ 41. Mr. Raphael Tuckasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what consultations he has had with the EEC Commission with reference to its setting up of a sub-office in England.
§ Mr. HattersleyI am not aware of any plans to set up an EEC sub-office in England. The Communities Office in London has been operating in one form or another since 1956. Decisions to open offices in Edinburgh and Cardiff were taken last year and we are keeping in touch with the Commission on this.
