HC Deb 16 July 1974 vol 877 cc91-2W
Mr. Churchill

asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will indicate the extent to which the statement issued by the General Council of the TUC on 25th June represents Her Majesty's Government's policy on the social contract.

Mr. Foot

The Government have already warmly welcomed the TUC General Council's statement of 26th June and I will be making further reference to this in the debate on the Counter-Inflation (Abolition of Pay Board) Order on 18th July.
