§ Mr. Lomasasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will bring forward proposals to lower interest rates by subsidising them from the Exchequer.
§ Mr. DellSubsidies and tax reliefs already reduce the effective cost to borrowers of certain interest payments but I have no proposals for a general subsidy.
