§ Mr. MasonHMS "Renown" has been at Port Canaveral for the past month undergoing a post-refit demonstration and shakedown operation, designed to bring the crew to a high state of readiness before the submarine takes its place in the operational cycle. The operation will culminate tomorrow in a routine test firing of a Polaris missile following the submarine's refit at Rosyth. The missile will not be fitted with a nuclear warhead.
