§ 27. Mr. Wintertonasked the Secretary of State for Trade when he expects to complete his consultations with the manufacturing and operating industries on the quietening of aeroengines.
§ Mr. ShoreAircraft manufacturers and operators have now provided full information about the noise reductions likely to be achieved by modifying the older types of jet aircraft. Important questions of cost and timing are involved and I cannot, at this stage, say when consultations with industry and other Departments will be completed, but they are being carried out as quickly as possible.
