Mr. Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how much money was spent on primary school building in Cheshire in each of the last three years; and how many primary schools were built in each of these years in Cheshire.

The following table shows for each building year since 1970–71 the value of major primary school projects started and the number of primary school departments completed in the county of Cheshire, including the former county boroughs:
