§ Dr. GilbertAssuming that the wife is entitled to a retirement pension by virtue of her husband's insurance and that the disablement pension is subject to tax, and has no other income, then the tax payable for 1974–75 is £58.37. If the disablement pension is not subject to tax there is no tax payable for 1974–75.
