§ Mr. Channonasked the Secretary of State for Industry what representations he has received from manufacturers of knitwear about the increased volume of knitwear imports in to this country.
§ Mr. MeacherThere have been no recent formal representations from manufacturers associations about the increased volume of knitwear imports but there have been approaches from individual manufacturers. The problem is currently being studied in the context of the new multifibre agreement.
