Mr. Kaufman

The collection of information on the causes of dampness in buildings and ways to overcome it is an important and continuing task for my Department. Results are published, the latest findings being contained in Advisory Leaflet No. 47, Fourth Edition 1973, which itself has an extensive bibliography. Specific instances of dampness in housing can be investigated on a fee-paying basis by the Department's Building Research Advisory Service.
