asked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will list the projects now receiving attention in the Energy Technical Support Unit.

Mr. Eadie

The Energy Technology Support Unit is at present assessing the prospects in the United Kingdom for windpower, solar energy, geothermal energy, and hydrogen from water as new energy sources. In the field of energy utilisation, it has in hand projects on heat pumps, on energy flows in industrial processes, and on the long-distance transmission of heat in the context of district heating.
