§ Mr. Brayasked the Secretary of State for the Social Services what action she proposes to take to reduce the incidence of cause of death due to addiction to drugs from 64 in 1972 to one in 1961 as a minimum objective.
§ Dr. OwenThe increase in the number of deaths from addiction to drugs in recent years gives cause for serious concern. Work towards prevention is continuing and a limited local expansion of treatment and community facilities in areas of need is planned.
