asked the Secretary of State for Industry whether, without identifying particular firms' professional charges, he will state how many of the firms providing professional accountancy and management consultancy services to his Department are being remunerated at less than £168 per day.

Payments to those firms which are remunerated on a daily basis depend on the number of staff employed which may vary from day to day.
