§ Mr. BennThere are 238 statutory appointments made by my Department. Of these, 27 are listed, together with salaries payable at 1st April 1974, in the White Paper on Public Boards (Cmnd. 5609). Since that date stage 3 salary increases of £350 have been awarded to all full-time board members. Salaries of the other posts, which are mainly unpaid, amount to £54,520 per annum.
