§ Mr. Bishopasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in addition to public participation in the consultation taking place about his proposals for the A46 Newark relief road, he will make a presentation of the alternative schemes by his Department's officials to the Nottinghamshire County Council and to Newark District Council: and if he will 174W seek in all consultations to provide the maximum amount of detail about the individual effects on the town centre of Newark and other areas.
§ Mr. CarmichaelAn offer has been made to supplement the discussions which have already taken place with both authorities, by a presentation to them at a preview of the exhibition arranged for 9th July. All the relevant information has been made publicly available.
