§ Mr. Newens
asked the Secretary of State for Defence if Recommendation 22, which was approved by the NATO Assembly at Bonn in November 1972, has been accepted by Her Majesty's Government.

§ Mr. Mason
The recommendations of the North Atlantic Assembly are not presented to individual Governments for acceptance. They are put before the North Atlantic Council for consideration in the context of Alliance policy. The comments of the North Atlantic Council on Recommendation 22 were sent to the Secretary of the Assembly on 29th March 1973.
