§ Mr. Kinnockasked the Secretary of State for Wales when the restrictions on the fields of recruitment by the new Welsh local authorities will be lifted.
§ Mr. John MorrisThe Local Government Staff Commission for Wales is satisfied that it is no longer necessary to retain these restrictions for the protection of staff affected by reorganisation. The commission, therefore, announced on Monday 1st July that the restrictions had been lifted.
