§ Mr. Loveridgeasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will introduce legislation to extend the powers of magistrates' courts so that in any order granted by them under Section 11 of the Caravan Sites Act 1968 that order may 178W include an injunction to prevent the same caravans from unlawful occupation within the area of the same local authority for a period to be specified at the court's discretion.
§ Mr. John SilkinI have had no representation from local authorities designated under Section 12 of the Act to suggest that any strengthening of the legislation in this respect is necessary.
