§ Mr. BuchanThe total tonnage of beef and veal imported into the United Kingdom from other member States of the EEC in the period 1st October 1973 to 28th February 1974 was 50,658 tons. Monetary compensatory amounts paid by184W the Intervention Board on such imports in the period 17th September 1973 to 31st May 1974 was £2,177,208.

§ Mr. BuchanThe total tonnage of beef and veal exported from the United Kingdom to other Member States of the EEC in the period 1st October 1973 to 28th February 1974 was 22,760 tons. Monetary compensatory amounts paid to the Intervention Board on such exports in the period 17th September 1973 to 31st May 1974 was £712,608.
