§ Mr. BoothIn the period from 28th February 1972 to 31st March 1974 there were 2,386 successful cases brought under the unfair dismissals provisions and in 135—or 5.7 per cent.—of these the tribunals recommended re-engagement. The National Industrial Relations Court recommended re-engagement in the case of Shipside v. Ruthin.
