HC Deb 02 July 1974 vol 876 c108W
Mr. Lawrence

asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what quantity of milk is currently being imported and from which countries, and what proposals he has to import milk in the future.

Mr. Buchan

During the first three months of this year imports under the tariff heading appropriate to liquid milk were 1,530 tons. I understand this was skimmed milk from the Irish Republic for spray drying in Northern Ireland. I have no proposals to make.
