HC Deb 02 July 1974 vol 876 c156W
Mr. Reid

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what estimate his Department makes of the number of Scottish houses with an estimated life span of 10 or more years demolished within the last five years as a result of road improvement, urban renewal, and civil engineering schemes.

Mr. William Ross

No such estimate is made by my Department, but I would expect local authorities to take account of these factors in estimating future housing need in their areas.
