§ Mr. VarleyFigures on average output per manshift overall and at the face in National Coal Board mines are published monthly inTrade and Industry. The latest published information is given at Table 6 on page 658 of the issue dated 27th June 1974. Figures of average output per manshift underground for the coal-producing countries of the EEC are given in "Energy Statistics 1973 No. 4" and in the EEC Monthly Coal Press Notice. The latest published figures for EEC countries together with the cor 126W responding figure for the United Kingdom on an EEC basis are given below:
