§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if the proposed slaughter premium on beef cattle will be payable at both deadweight centres and also at auction liveweight certification centres.
§ Mr. PeartContingency preparations of the certification procedures which I announced in the House on 26th June include the certification of cattle at both liveweight and deadweight centres. No decision on the operation of any arrangements which may be decided upon will be taken without full consultation with the interests concerned.
