HC Deb 01 July 1974 vol 876 c65W
Mr. Adley

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will make a statement about pollution in the Lymington River.

Mr. Denis Howell

This river was recorded as unpolluted throughout its length in 1970 and the Southern Water Authority is not aware of any serious pollution problems which change that situation. If the hon. Member will let me know what is causing him concern I will write to him.
