HC Deb 01 July 1974 vol 876 cc37-8W
Mr. Frank Allaun

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what kind of training Her Majesty's Government provide for members of the Indonesian armed forces; where is this training given; how many trainees are involved and from which arm of the armed forces they come.

Mr. William Rodgers

Training courses in the United Kingdom are from time to time attended by Indonesian officers in the same way as nationals of other countries, when vacancies exist.

At the present time there is one Indonesian naval officer at the RN Staff College, Greenwich, one naval officer at the RN Engineering College, Manadon and one army officer at the Army Staff College, Camberley.
