§ Mr. Cryerasked the Secretary of State for Employment how many persons or firms were prosecuted in each of the districts of Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Factories during 1973 for contravention of the Factories Act 1961 and associated regulations.
§ Mr. Harold Walker,pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 24th June 1974] gave the following information:
The number of persons or firms prosecuted during 1973 for contravention of the Factories Act 1961 and associated regulations including the construction regulations, was 1,812. The number of persons or firms prosecuted in each district of Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Factories during 1973 was as follows:
