§ Mr. James Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) what financial assistance he will give to Lanarkshire County Council to develop the area of Uddingston as submitted to him in the town map;
(2) what reply he has given to Lanarkshire County Council to its request for financial assistance for the amended plan for Bellshill requested by him.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellI have told the county council that comprehensive development grant will be available subject to an assurance that the possibilities of rehabilitation have been fully considered.
