§ Mr. van Straubenzee33 people who were interned in Northern Ireland in 1971 under the Civil Authorities (Special Powers) Acts (Northern Ireland) 1922–1943 are still detained at Her Majesty's Prison, Maze, under the Northern Ireland (Emergency Provisions) Act 1973. All their cases were referred by my right hon. Friend to a commissioner appointed under the Detention of Terrorists90W (Northern Ireland) Order 1972 and in each case a detention order was made.
