§ Mr. Loveridgeasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will give an assurance that no new works or alterations to existing works by his Department are in hand or are contemplated on Rainham Marshes which would jeopardise the proposed diversion of the Al3 roadway to the south of Rainham Village.
§ Mr. YoungerSome work is in hand on modernising facilities on one of the ranges at Purflet ; it does not affect the existing range safety area and does not in itself debar a diversion of the A13.
