§ Mr. Topeasked the Secretary of State for Employment when he expects to receive the report from the joint working group studying the manpower problems of London.
§ Mr. ScottWhen Sir Reginal Goodwin saw the Prime Minister on 11th January, he suggested that the Government and the Greater London Council should undertake a joint assessment of the future staffing requirements of London's services ; and my right hon. Friend said on Tuesday 15th January that he welcomed this and would consider how the GLC could collaborate. I am unable to say at present when a report might be produced from any such study.
