§ Mr. Michael HeseltineContracts for assessment and development of linear motors have been placed with the GEC Hirst Research Centre and Brush Electrical Machines Limited, and negotiations with a third firm are in progress. A committee is being set up to co-ordinate these contracts and other related work.
