Mr. Latham

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will list the private security firms whose services are used by his Department.

Mr. Younger

The following private security firms have contracts with the Ministry of Defence: AFA Minerva (EMI) Limited; Night Guard Security (Fareham) Limited; Securicor Limited; Security Express Limited.

This list is not necessarily exhaustive but it would involve disproportionate time and effort to make inquiries of every local Ministry of Defence establishment.
