§ 80. Mr. Robert Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will introduce early legislation to give statutory force to his proposals for dealing with the dangers of the transport of toxic chemicals and oils on the road, as promised arising out of the Adjournment debate on 6th March 1973 initiated by the hon. Member for Bilston.
§ Mr. LaneRegulations were made in December 1973 governing the conveyance by road of organic peroxides. Regulations relating to other substances will follow as soon as possible. In the meantime I welcome the arrangements made by the Chemical Industries Association for providing round-the-clock advice on dangerous chemicals.
