32. Mr. Stratton Mills

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland on what date it is intended to hold the second round of talks between Her Majesty's Government, the Government of the Republic of Ireland and the Northern Ireland Executive; and on what date he expects to receive the report of the joint commission set up to study the most effective means of dealing with those who commit certain specific crimes.

On the first part of the Question, I have nothing to add to the answer my right hon. Friend gave on 21st January—[Vol. 867, c.241]. The joint commission on law enforcement has been asked to make its recommendations as a matter of extreme urgency but it is too soon for me to say when its report will be received.
