§ Mr. Peter ThomasThe Votes for 1974–75 in respect of expenditure by my Department will be reduced by a total of £7.8 million as a result of the cuts announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 21st May and 17th December 1973. The main fields affected will be roads, education, environmental services and health and personal social services.
