§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he proposes to introduce legislation to make unions responsible to their members for the payment of strike pay in the event of their giving official support to industrial action, thereby enabling social security benefits to be abated by the union contributions deemed to have been paid.
