§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Defence how many civilians are employed in Scotland by his Department; and if he will give a breakdown of the figure by Scottish planning regions.
§ Mr. Younger, pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 25th January 1974; Vol. 867, c. 363–4), circulated the following information:
The number of civilians currently employed by the Ministry of Defence in Scotland is 21,714. A breakdown of this figure by planning regions is not immediately available and I will write to the hon. Member with this information as soon as possible.
