Sir G. Howe

I announced on 5th December 1973—[Vol. 865, c.407.]—in reply to a Question from my hon. Friend the Member for Gloucester (Mrs. Sally Oppenheim) that the Government proposed to give financial support for the establishment of new citizens' advice bureaux and the improvement of existing bureaux. My officials have invited the National Association of Citizens' Advice Bureaux to submit its plans for this extension of the network of advisory services.
