Mr. Gwynfor Evans

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what sums of money have been made

available in consequence of the Burnham agreement to schools in socially deprived areas in Dyfed; and what schools have been selected for benefit.

Mr. Prentice

About £66,000 pei annum would be paid in social priority school allowances to teachers in 22 schools in Dyfed under the Burnham Committee agreement. I will send a list of the schools to the hon. Member.
