§ Mr. John FraserNone. The directive's provisions are without prejudice to legislation by member States that is more favourable to workers. The Government's proposals for Great Britain, as set out in the consultative document, are more favourable than the provisions of the directive. Appropriate legislative proposals will be introduced in respect of Northern Ireland.
