HC Deb 19 December 1974 vol 883 c539W
Mr. Gow

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services in how many of the pensions currently being paid in respect of the 1939–45 war and subsequent service the disability in question is "aggravated by service"; in how many cases, since the pension started to be paid, the rate of pension has been increased because of a deterioration in health "aggravated by service"; and what would be the estimated additional annual cost of increasing pensions to the full rate in those cases where deterioration in health is not at present regarded as being "aggravated by service".
