HC Deb 19 December 1974 vol 883 cc602-3W
Mr. Baker

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment, in view of the facts that the Cuban Embassy is using 64 Marl-borough Place, NW8, as a school without any planning permission to do so and the Westminster City Council cannot proceed with its enforcement order owing to diplomatic immunity, whether he will arrange for the public inquiry to be held early in 1975 so that a decision can be reached before the summer term starts at the school.

Mr. John Silkin

The public inquiry into the planning application for the Cuban Embassy School is to be held on 19th February 1975. I cannot forecast when a decision will be reached.
