§ 33. Mr. Leslie Huckfieldasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will make a statement on the use by the police of the National Police Computer and other computer systems for the storing of personal information about possible IRA terrorist activities.
§ Mr. Roy JenkinsThe Police National Computer will contain no information which is not already kept manually in central and regional criminal record offices, in local force records or in motor taxation records. Other police computer systems in use are for command and control purposes.
